Julia Tortolani started Directing TV commercials in 1995. While working at @radical.media as an Art Director, she was presented with an opportunity to direct a Nike NYC Basketball commercial for Weiden & Kennedy. That spot won Ad Age’s Animation of the Year Award, and launched her career as a Commercial Director which led to a great run of animated commercials for ESPN, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Ford, Nabisco, Noggin, Nickelodeon, Jolly Rancher, Marvel, and PSAs for Museums and Anti-Smoking campaigns. Tortolani as also created the Animated movie titles, for Paramount Picture's "Rat Race.”
